Hello. I'm Alex Deweert, a software developer. This is my digital portfolio.
This site also contains project journal entries and blog posts in the theme of software development and computer science. Thanks for stopping by.
Downloadable reference material, reports, and other documents.
Projects are documented as stories rather than trophies: the problem, the direction, the useful parts, and the stopping point.
This site—an Angular application prerendered and deployed through GitHub Pages.
Past projects will appear here as their notes, screenshots, and source material are recovered.
A place for work still in motion, without pretending that every experiment needs to be finished.
Longer notes about software, tradeoffs, and the work behind finished and unfinished projects.
Static output, GitHub Actions, and choosing familiar tools over fashionable ones.
Short observations that are useful enough to keep but too small for a full essay.
What abandoned work can still teach us when the outcome is not a launch.
